*Waves* Hi! I’m Kendal Ashby and this is my blog (I like to state the obvious sometimes!). I have been writing for three years and have two e-books in 2009. I’m working towards getting a few more out for publication this year and will post information here as I know more.
A little about me. I live in Canada, eh! I am an active member of RWA (Romance Writers of America) and an awesome romance writers site called Romance Divas. Plus I blog on Tuesdays at www.romanticinks.comunder my erotica pen name Kendal Corbitt. We discuss weekly topics related to writing such as long vs short stories, e-publishing vs print, etc.
High School was the best time of my life because I had amazing friends. Every day, Monday through Saturday there was something going on. I grew up in the country. That means to me: hard work, needing a car to get anywhere and bush parties. When I went to college I stuck my nose in a book and gradulated with a Journalism degree in three years. If I had a time machine, I’d go back to my college days and have a few more shameful moments to remember in my old age. I guess I’ll have to live with the ones I made in high school…which thanks the Karen, Kelly and Michelle…are a lot! And thanks to Jon, Ben, and Scott…I have a few that still make me blush. I was a bit boy crazy in high school, and even when I didn’t ‘get the guy’ I had fun flirting! A side note, I am now happily married to the man of my dreams…a wonderful guy I met after high school and college. To be truthful, I can’t even picture myself with any of my crushes from high school. I am so not that person anymore, all part of growing up.
I love writing. It’s more than just a career for me, it’s a passion. I absolutely love my newest story ‘Melody’s Song’ and hope to share with you more details as I get further into the story. Keep posted for more details!
